We who are ministers, servants in the Kingdom to the Most High God, have one calling — to do the will of Him who sent me. You are merely a delegated authority to speak and act in His stead. And if you are truly an Ambassador for Him you can not mix your agenda with His.

Now this delegated authority to act and speak is a position granted to those who are in Christ, fully submitted to His will. You must not consider your own desires, goals, thoughts or feelings on the matter. You must in essence, and in fact, die to yourSelf. For you have no authority to act or speak on behalf of Self but only Him who sent you.

Here now is the tricky part, the subtle temptation of the Enemy of your soul. Not everyone will respond positively to your authority. They will not embrace what you were sent to do and say. Don’t take it personal — it is not. They are not rejecting you but the One who sent you.

Have you faithfully distributed the will of Him who sent you? Have you done so in such a way that you yourSelf have not been an offence? If so, go in peace, for any attempt to justify and make acceptable your service becomes in reality self-justification and a matter of self-acceptance. This is the trick of the Enemy to nullify the power and glory of God and to bring to naught that which should be of faith and to His glorious praise.

For even Christ pleased not himself: but, as it is written, the reproach of them that reproached thee fell on me. (Rom.5:3)
